ADMARC sets bold plans for 2026/27 fiscal year

ADMARC Chief Executive Officer, Ben Botolo, says one of the Company’s key priorities for the 2026/27 financial year is to strengthen its commercial viability and reposition the institution as a profitable enterprise.

Speaking in Mzuzu during an interface meeting with ADMARC Division Managers, Senior Operations Officers and Unit Market Officers from the northern region, Botolo urged staff to uphold commitment, professionalism and integrity in their duties to ensure the Company’s objectives are achieved.

He emphasized that ADMARC’s success depends on the dedication of its officers.

“ADMARC is focusing on agricultural production, trading and value addition to become commercially viable,” Botolo said.

He reminded officers to treat all stakeholders with respect, noting that they represent the face of the institution.

Botolo further highlighted that the Company will purchase a range of key commodities, including maize, cotton, pigeon peas, groundnuts and beans.

The Division Managers for Mzuzu and Karonga, Lawrence Kanjira and Gracious Mnjengezulu, expressed their gratitude to the CEO for engaging with staff in the northern region. They indicated that the region is prepared to purchase commodities from farmers.

Established in 1978, ADMARC continues to play a vital role in promoting Malawi’s economy by increasing the volume and quality of agricultural exports.
