Ben Botolo is the Chief Executive Officer of ADMARC Limited, with extensive experience in the public sector. He was appointed to this position effective December 4, 2025. He has previously held several senior government positions, including Secretary for Economic Planning and Development, Secretary to the Treasury, Secretary for Natural Resources, Energy and Mining, Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Secretary to the Vice President, and Principal Secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet. During his tenure as Secretary to the Treasury, he served on the boards of various parastatal organisations and private companies, including Malawi Telecommunications Limited, Sunbird Hotels and Resorts, the National Food Reserve Agency, ADMARC Limited, FDH Bank, and the Reserve Bank of Malawi, among others. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Malawi.
