Welcome to ADMARC Limited

Bwenzi la alimi

ADMARC Limited was established as a statutory corporation under chapter 67.03 of laws of Malawi in 1971. Up to 1987 ADMARC was a sole buyer of smallholder produce. This monopoly was removed with a controlled liberalisation of agricultural trade. In 2003, the ADMARC Act (1971) was repealed and ADMARC was incorporated as a Limited liability company with government owning 99% of the shares. With 11 divisional offices and over 240 markets nationwide, ADMARC Limited plays a critical role in the purchase and sale of key agricultural commodities, including maize, rice, cotton, beans, sesame, soya beans, pigeon peas, cowpeas, and groundnuts. By managing essential infrastructure such as cotton ginneries, processing plants, and depots across the country, ADMARC Limited facilitates seamless agricultural trade and supports value addition, contributing to the growth and sustainability of Malawi’s agricultural sector.
