ADMARC Mzuzu Division has joined the Mzuzu City Council in supporting sanitation efforts aimed at promoting cleanliness in the city.
As part of the initiative, the Division donated cleaning materials to support the exercise such as a dustbin and rakes.
ADMARC Divisional Manager, Lawrence Kanjira, emphasized the importance of stakeholder participation in maintaining a clean environment.
“A clean environment is essential for healthy communities. As a public institution, ADMARC believes in working closely with stakeholders on various initiatives, including the campaign to make the city of Mzuzu clean. We are proud to support this initiative,” said Kanjira.
He added that ADMARC remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote cleanliness.
Mzuzu City Council Chief Executive Officer, Gomezgani Nyasulu, thanked ADMARC for responding positively to the Council’s request for assistance.
He described the Company’s support as a demonstration of the value of partnerships in keeping the city clean and called on other organisations to support the initiative.
The clean-up exercise is being implemented in line with Executive Order No. 2, which encourages government institutions, businesses and communities to work together in maintaining clean public spaces.
