ADMARC Limited participated in the Intra-Africa Trade Fair (IATF 2025), held in Algiers, Algeria, where the company showcased a range of its agricultural products.
The event, which brought together delegates from 54 African countries and 11 European countries, offered ADMARC a valuable platform to promote Malawian produce on the international stage.
ADMARC representatives engaged in several strategic meetings with prospective trade partners from across Africa and beyond, exploring opportunities to expand the company’s export footprint and open new markets for Malawi’s farmers.
Speaking at the event, ADMARC Chief Executive Officer Daniel Makata emphasized the importance of market access for Malawian agricultural products, both locally and internationally.
“We promised farmers that we would find markets for their produce, and this is one way of delivering on that promise,” said Makata. “This was a good platform because almost all the countries in Africa and beyond were represented.”
Some of the commodities showcased at the fair included cotton, pigeon peas, soya beans, rice and ground nuts.
ADMARC is committed to supporting local farmers by identifying and securing reliable markets. The Company is encouraging farmers to continue growing a variety of crops, with assurance that viable markets are available both domestically and internationally.
“We encourage farmers to continue growing various crops as markets for their produce are available,” Makata added.
Through its participation in IATF 2025, ADMARC reaffirmed its strategic goal of contributing to Malawi’s economic growth by strengthening the country’s position in regional and global agricultural trade.
